Gabrielle Cabrera (Cultural Anthropology)
My research is about the everyday life experiences of undocumented migrants in California’s San Joaquin Valley. As an anthropologist, I am interested in the social meanings and process of waiting for citizenship, “legalization,” and “a better life” amongst migrants.
