M Jordan (Anthropology, BA in Progress)
M Jordan is a senior majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Geology and a certificate in GIS. They assist in a variety of bioarcheological research projects in Dr. Lauren Hosek’s lab and help transcribe agricultural census data under Dr. Eric Jones. M’s senior thesis revolves around the identity of 19th century cowboys in Boulder County, and they are transcribing data from the 1885 Colorado Population Census to pursue their curiosities. Through working under Dr. Eric Jones as a mentor, M can apply their current research and interests to a larger project centered on 19th century upstate New York.
