Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP)

**Due to COVID-19 pandemic limitations, we regretfully cancelled our summer 2020 in-person research program.Ìý We offered virtual internships, conducted a summer webinar series and have extended 2021 summer position offers to all of our 2020 class. The Gates Summer Internship Program (GSIP) hosted byÌýthe University of Colorado, Charles C. Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine. ÌýThe GSIP aims to encourage outstanding undergraduates to consider careers in stem cell research by providing state of the art laboratory training opportunities at the Gates Center. They take up to 20 undergraduatesÌýon a competitive basis to be trained in their laboratories for 11 weeks.

Interns willÌýparticipate inÌýprogram activitiesÌýincluding conducting their own stem cell research project, attendingÌýa stem cell research seminar series, and presentingÌýa talk or a poster on their own researchÌýat the end of the summer. They will also join in withÌýnetworking and career development activities and fun week-end adventures to introduce them to Denver and Colorado.ÌýThe summer interns will receive a stipend of $3,500Ìýand paid parking or transportation for the duration of the program. ÌýÌýÌý
