STAR-PREP Ìý(Science Training for Advancing biomedical Research Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program) is a 1-year mentored research experience for students from underrepresented groups who are interested in pursuing PhDs in biomedical science. Our program is located in Baltimore, MD on the campus of University of Maryland Baltimore.ÌýThe program provides a community environment, Ìýresearch experience, a salary, professional development, travel funds, GRE PREP, and a waiver to reduce the cost of the GRE by 50%.Ìý
