Front the Department of Applied Psychology and Counselor Education at University of Northern Colorado:

We are currently conducting an IRB-approved study on how U.S. college students think about their future and engage in future-oriented coping. We are seeking participants who are 18 years of age or older and currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university.

Participation involves completing a brief (approximately 5-minute) online screening survey. If eligible, participants will be invited to a 1 to 1.5-hour interview conducted via Zoom. All responses will be kept confidential. As a token of appreciation, participants will receive a $45 Amazon e-gift card upon completing the interview.

From Boston Children's Hospital & Harvard Medical School:

On behalf of the faculty at the Computational Health Informatics Program (CHIP) at Boston Children's Hospital & Harvard Medical School, we would like to extend an invitation for your students in college and graduate school to apply for the upcoming Summer 2025 internship as part of its inaugural cohort with a paid or course/thesis credit option (applications due February 28).

Our research at CHIP and the various faculty labs explore the intersection of medicine/bioinformatics, public health, the social sciences, and computation within a variety of fields such as AI/machine learning, natural language processing/LLMs, genomics, population health, regulatory science, technology development, data science driven social justice/political science, and more.

Our faculty have been recognized by and advise various institutions, including the White House, the CDC, the US Department of State, USAID, NASA, and many others. Additionally, CHIP has established partnerships with companies like Uber, Lyft, Quest Diagnostics, and Eli Lily and have developed platforms, such as pioneering/inventing the first personally controlled health records and APIs mandated by law, that have been widely adopted by Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and others.

Additionally, CHIP graduates hold leadership positions in academia and industry, both nationally and globally, that provide students access to an extensive alumni network for their professional development.

The Undergraduate Pre-Health Program (UPP) started in the spring of 2006; the Office of Inclusion and Outreach(OIO) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus hosts the year long program. OIO is committed to helping increase the number of historically underrepresented individuals within the health care professions for the purpose of reducing health disparities among underserved communities in Colorado.

By participating in the program students learn about health disparities, health policy and social justice issues that impact equity in healthcare. Courses are taught by distinguished University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus faculty, staff and students. Topics consist of personal and professional development, lectures, demonstrations, and interactive presentations. The program is designed to allow students to explore the many facets of health care.

Participants will engage in a yearlong program that exposes students to professional and career exploration. Topics include:
- Health care equity/disparities within various communities
- Career development workshops
- Educational development workshops
Sessions are led by distinguished University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus faculty, staff, and students, as well as community healthcare providers and partners. Sessions will consist of lectures, workshops and demonstrations.
The program begins with a late summer orientation. Saturday Academy workshops will be held monthly (August 2020—May 2021). In addition, they will receive a stipend, internship and shadowing experience (May 2021—July 2021) that is contingent upon successful completion of Saturday Academies.
