CIEST is equipped with a series of centrifuges from small teaching units to large industrial-scale machinesÌýenabling a full spectrum ofÌý
geotechnical research.ÌýStructural lab lists four hydraulic actuators, covering both uniaxialÌýand bi-axial testing ranging from 110 kip and 220kip.Ìý
Largest actuator can handle up to one million pounds.ÌýMaterials testing is fully supported by several MTS and Instron.ÌýCombination of theseÌý
explores new ideas,Ìýproves the concepts,Ìýand leads to the success of research and development expanding theÌýboundaries of innovations
