What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Academically, I’m most proud that I was able to apply what I’ve learned through completing my senior project. There were times I doubted myself or felt overwhelmed, so being able to bring everything together made all the hard work feel worth it. Personally, I’m proud of being involved in different communities on campus, where I was able to support other students and make a meaningful impact.

What are some interesting things about you that others might not know?

I am apart of the GoldShirt Scholars Program, which played a big role in my transition into engineering. Building on that, I became a BOLD Peer Mentor at the Campos Student Center and worked as a Mentor and Program Assistant for the Lattice Scholars Program, where I supported other students and helped build community. I was also involved in the (SHPE), where I attended the national conference and had the opportunity to network with professionals, learn more about different career paths and gain more confidence in my future as an engineer.

What was the biggest challenge for you during your engineering education?

The biggest challenge was how overwhelming everything could get at times. There were definitely moments where I felt behind or didn’t fully understand things. I learned how to stay consistent, manage my time better, and keep going even when things didn’t click right away.

What is your favorite memory from your time at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ?

One of my favorite memories would have to be going up to the Flatirons with my friends. It was always a nice break from engineering and everything else going on, and it gave me a chance to just enjoy being in Boulder.
