Photos by Kimberly Coffin
INFO鈥檚 Spring Showcase is an opportunity for students taking information science courses to share what they learn in the classroom and research labs. This science fair-like experience illustrates how students combine their various passions of public health, media, higher education, music, and the environment with their study of technology. Seniors present their capstone projects鈥攌ey parts of their portfolios鈥攚hich include apps and projects they have created in groups.听
鈥淭he event gives the INFO community a chance to highlight students' hard work and to celebrate outstanding students鈥攅specially seniors鈥攚ith awards, cake, and photos,鈥 shared Evan Peck, associate chair of undergraduate studies and associate professor of information science.
