As a student staff member at the Environmental Center, John鈥檚 main focus is at the听GROC (Grounds & Recycling Operations Center), but he also takes on additional responsibilities. He explains, 鈥淚 also work events and am a certified driver on campus for听Zero Waste.鈥 However, one of his favorite tasks is training and getting to know new team members.听
What is a typical day like for John?
A typical day for John starts early, but he admits, 鈥淚 wake up early, but rot in bed until I have to rush to bike to class.鈥 During the afternoon, you鈥檒l find John dedicating his time to the听ROC (Recycling Operations Center). As for his plans after graduation in December 2023, John acknowledges, 鈥淚鈥檓 definitely still figuring that out.鈥 However, he has a clear aspiration in mind, stating, 鈥淚 am hoping to go to grad school and study more ecology.鈥澨
