Safety Observation Program (SOP) open house on February 18 and 19
Our Safety Observation Program helps improve workplace safety by having supervisors watch and record safety practices of their team members. Using our app available through PowerApps, supervisors can note both good safety behaviors and areas that need improvement. This program encourages a proactive approach to safety, making our workplace safer and more aware.
The program is open to all supervisors in Facilities Management who are interested in contributing to our campus safety culture. Each supervisor that enrolls in the SOP program should commit to doing at least one safety observation each month, and report your observations using an app easily accessible from your CU-issued cell phone.
We will be hosting our next Safety Observation Program (SOP) open house on February 11 and 12 at the Stadium. Please see this link which explains the purpose of the program and why it plays such a big impact for our safety program
Whether you are already familiar with the SOP program or new to the program, you are more than welcome to stop by. Here’s the details:
