Working in partnership with the Procurement Service Center (PSC), I&R helps ensure that construction projects, facility improvements, and infrastructure-related purchases comply with university requirements and campus standards.

CU Procurement Service Center (PSC)

The PSC is responsible for purchasing most goods and non-construction services on behalf of the university and provides guidance on procurement policies, contracts, and purchasing processes.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ Infrastructure & Resilience (I&R)

Through delegated authority from the University of Colorado and the State of Colorado, I&R manages procurement for construction-related projects and professional services associated with campus facilities and infrastructure.

This includes:

• Construction and renovation projects
• Facility and infrastructure improvements
• Architectural and engineering services
• Industrial hygiene services
• Building-related consulting services
• Campus infrastructure and grounds projects

When Does I&R Get Involved?

I&R should be consulted before purchasing or contracting for any project that modifies university buildings, infrastructure, or grounds.

• Flooring, doors, windows, and related building components
• Utility or infrastructure improvements

I&R continuously evaluates opportunities to improve procurement and project delivery processes across campus.
