Data Governance
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ collects, uses, and maintains a significant amount of data. This includes, but is not limited to student, employee, research and finance data. Institutional data supports ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ mission of teaching, research and service. To promote consistency and foster understanding across the wide spectrum of data, it must be accessible, accurate, clearly defined and easily integrated across campus information systems. There must also be systematic policies and procedures for data ownership, usage, documentation and access.Ìý
ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ works closely with the CU System data governance program to ensure alignment with the other four campuses in developing definitions, standards, and policy around data governance.
