Undergraduate Opportunities

$500 Scholarship
Freshman & Sophomore Scholarship

Fall Deadline to Apply:ÌýJanuary 4, 2019

Each semester, the Program in Jewish Studies awardsÌýaÌý$500 tuition scholarshipÌýto a freshman or sophomore who as declared a Jewish Studies Major or Minor and has the highest GPA in the pool of applicants.

PHAJ Collections Undergraduate Scholarship

Deadline to Apply:ÌýJanuary 4, 2019

TheÌýPost-Holocaust American JudaismÌý(PHAJ) CollectionsÌýUndergraduate Scholarship provides a CU undergraduate student aÌý$1,000 undergraduate scholarship to complete an original research project during the Spring semester using one or more of theÌýPHAJ Collections.

Research in Jewish Studies: How, What Why? – Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program

Deadline to Apply:ÌýJanuary 4, 2019

This Spring 2019, Jewish Studies' UROP,Research in Jewish Studies: How, What, Why?,Ìýwill acquaint undergraduate students with the skills to conduct high level, independent, and interdisciplinary research and synthesize their findings into a successful final project. This program allows undergraduate students to enhance their learning experience, improve their ability to create and execute original research, and impress both future employers and potential graduate school admissions committees.

Deadline for research travel, conferences, and projects between November 2018 and May 2019:ÌýNovember 2, 2018

The Barry and Sue Baer Graduate FellowshipÌýsupports graduate students from all disciplines and backgrounds as they conduct research, produce creative works, and address scholarly gatherings around the globe.

PHAJ Collections Graduate Fellowship

Fall Deadline to Apply: November 9, 2018

The Post-Holocaust American Judaism Collections Graduate Research FellowshipÌýprovides support to a ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ graduate student to conduct researchÌýin the CUÌýÌýduring the spring semester.ÌýTheÌýFellow will work with librarians and archivists to produce an original research paper or project using one or more of the PHAJ collections.
