We are investigating  to enable robots with human-like object manipulation skills, and , novel composite materials that embed sensing, actuation, computation, and communication such as robotic muscles, skin and bones, currently moving toward full-stack humanoid development. Â
Our alumni became tenure-track Professors at R1 universities, graduate students and post-docs at the world's premier research universities, joined large corporations as engineers and scientists, or started successful robotics companies.Â
