Adam SopkoÌýis an Associate Professor of Law at the UniversityÌýof Colorado Law School. He is a scholar of state courts, state constitutional law, and judicial federalism. Sopko teaches state constitutional law, state and local courts, and evidence.

Professor Sopko's work has appeared or is forthcoming in the Northwestern University Law Review, Southern California LawÌýReview, Boston College Law Review, and North Carolina LawÌýReview, among other journals.

Professor Sopko received his B.S. from Manhattan College and J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern University Law Review. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Stuart J. Rabner on the New Jersey Supreme Court. Before joining the Colorado Law faculty, Professor Sopko was a staff attorney at the State Democracy Research Initiative.
