Nicole received her J.D., with a Certificate in Human Rights, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2011. She also earned an LL.M., Masters in Comparative Law, after studying abroad in Mannheim, Germany, and Adelaide, Australia.

Nicole began her legal career as a staff attorney at a nonprofit organization that provided free legal services to any individual with a chronic disease, and then worked as an associate attorney at two law firms before realizing her passion for mentoring students and transitioning into career development. Nicole served as a career counselor at UConn Law prior to relocating to Boulder and joining the team at Colorado Law as the Director for Law Firms from 2017-2022. She then served as the Assistant Dean for Career Strategy & Advancement at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law before returning to Colorado Law as the Director for Government and Public Interest in 2024. Nicole helps students and alumni navigate the legal employment market within the public sector - demystifying student and entry-level opportunities at all levels of government and within non-profit organizations.

As an active member of The National Association for Law Placement (NALP), Nicole has written and presented on a variety of topics relevant to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession. She served as the Chair of the NALP Task Force on Supporting Gender Non-binary Individuals in the Legal Profession (2020-2022), supported NALP's inaugural Vice President for DEI on the Diversity Steering Committee (2022-2024) and currently serves as Co-Chair on the DEI arm of NALP's Credentialing Task Force.

Nicole enjoys spending time with her spouse and their son.
