Gigi Pritzker, acclaimed producer and CEO of Madison Wells, will visit the University of Colorado Boulder on Monday, Nov. 17, as the featured speaker in the Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series, hosted by the CU Center for Leadership.

Pritzker’s talk will delve into the transformative power of bold storytelling—highlighting how film, television, and theater can drive cultural impact, amplify underrepresented voices, and inspire meaningful change.

CU in D.C. offers a Science Policy course each Maymester to students who are interested in science policy-making. The Science Policy course is highly participatory and involves classroom time, combined with numerous outings and visits throughout the D.C. area, including Capitol Hill and science institutions. This three-week course allows students to gain exposure to professional offices and institutions in the region.

Convey knowledge about key dimensions of Tamil Nadu and Kerala’s various agricultural and fishing systems and practices

This course will help students function in a multicultural, multiethnic, and transnational society. Nationhood, Nationalism, and Sport is designed to study major international sporting events on location. The experience will be enhanced with the study abroad opportunity because students will be able to examine the games and athletes, as well as observe the local community response to hosting the games.

Meet local athletes and experience sporting events, such as a water polo match or women’s soccer game, connect with local students in Mexico City, and watch World Cup games live!

Every year, an undergraduate student who demonstrates exemplary leadership is nominated for Campus Compact’s Newman Civic Fellowship, which supports student leaders who show great potential for tackling human rights and social justice issues. This year, the Center for Leadership’s own Anastasia Gallegos-Roque is one of the recipients. She is studying sociology and ethnic studies on a pre-law track with a minor in journalism and multicultural leadership. Gallegos-Roque was nominated by the Center for Leadership and Chancellor Schwartz.
