Fall break information

Fall break is from Nov. 24-30! Whether you’re staying on campus or traveling during break, here are some tips and reminders.ÌýÌý

ÌýÌýReminders

If you are going to be away from campus during fall break:

  • Lock your doors and windows.
  • Unplug lights, computers and appliances (except refrigerators) for safety and to conserve energy.
  • Take valuables (like jewelry) and any essentials (medication, passports, etc.) with you.
  • Secure your vehicles and bicycles in your approved parking area.
  • Turn your heater to the low setting where possible (unless you live in Sewall).Ìý
  • Remove any garbage from your room before you leave.Ìý

If you are going to stay on campus during fall break:

  • Notify your RA in advance.
  • Do not prop doors open.
  • Report strangers to an RA, the hall office or CUPD at 303-492-6666.
  • Always keep your doors and windows locked.
  • Keep bicycles and vehicles secure.Ìý

ÌýÌýCampus dining optionsÌý

Regular dining hours will end on Friday, Nov. 21.ÌýÌý

Starbucks in the UMC and the WeatherTech Cafe will be open for limited hours from Monday, Nov. 24 through Wednesday, Nov. 26. All locations will be closed Nov. 27-28.ÌýÌý

C4C Dining, Sewall Dining and the Village Center will reopen Sunday, Nov. 30. All other dining locations will reopen Monday, Dec. 1.ÌýÌý

ÌýÌýBuff Bus operationsÌý

Regular Buff Bus operations end on Friday, Nov. 21. There will be no Buff Bus service between Saturday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 29. On Sunday, Nov. 30, weekend Will Vill service will be from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Regular service resumes Monday, Dec. 1.ÌýÌý

  • Monday, Nov. 24-Wednesday, Nov. 26: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.ÌýÌý
  • Thursday, Nov. 27: ClosedÌýÌý
  • Friday, Nov. 28: ClosedÌýÌý
  • Saturday, Nov. 29: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.ÌýÌýÌý
  • Sunday, Nov. 30: ClosedÌýÌýÌý

ÌýÌýHall officesÌý

Resident advisors will be on rotation and are available to support throughout the break. Hall Community Centers are open on a reduced schedule. The following Community Centers will be open over fall break:Ìý

  • Williams Village: Bear Creek/Weber and StearnsÌý
  • Kittredge Neighborhood: Kitt CentralÌýÌý
  • Central Campus: Sewall and WillardÌý

ÌýÌýQuiet hoursÌý

Quiet hours remain the same for the break period. Sunday through Thursday, quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. and end at 8 a.m. the following morning. Friday and Saturday, they begin at midnight and continue until 8 a.m. the following morning.ÌýÌý

ÌýÌýLobby doorsÌý

All residence halls will be locked, and residents will need to use their Buff OneCard to enter their building.ÌýÌý
