Special Group Move-in
Pre-arrival ProgramsÌý
- If you have been accepted into a Pre-Arrival Program, you will move in on Friday, Aug. 14.
- You must self-select your own move-in time through your MyCULiving portal.
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- If you are a student in a Pre-Arrival Program, but are not able to view appointments on Aug. 14, please email reslife@colorado.edu.Ìý
- If you are an LLC student that wishes to move in on a later date, please email reslife@colorado.edu.Ìý
- Pre-Arrival Program students are eligible to participate in Drop Off Day. Drop Off Day can be self-selected through your MyCULiving portal.Ìý
International StudentsÌý
- In order to attend international student Orientation on Aug.Ìý16, you will move in onÌýSaturday, Aug. 15.
- You must self-select your own move-in time through your MyCULiving portal.
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- If you are an international student but are unable to view appointments on Aug. 15, please email reslife@colorado.edu.
- If you are an international student that wishes to move in on a later date, please emailÌýreslife@colorado.edu.
- International students are eligible to participate in Drop Off Day. Drop off Day can be self-selected through your MyCULiving portal.
- Note: Domestic students living abroad are eligible for international student early arrival.
Living Learning Communities
- All students assigned to the Hallett Living Learning Communities, Healthy Buffs LLC, and Service & Social Action LLC will participate in a pre-arrival program connected to their community, and will move in on Friday, Aug 14.
- You must self-select your own move-in time through your MyCuLiving portal.
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- If you are a student in one of the identified LLC’s, but are unable to see appointments on Aug. 14, please emailÌýreslife@colorado.edu.
- If you are an LLC student that wishes to move in on a later date, please emailÌýreslife@colorado.edu.
- LLC students are eligible to participate in Drop Off Day. Drop off Day can be self-selected through your MyCULiving portal.
Journey LeadersÌý
- Because of the role that they play during Fall Welcome, Journey Leaders with residence hall assignments will move in on Thursday, August 14 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. All Journey Leaders will check-in at Weber Hall. Additional details will be provided by your supervisor.
- Journey Leaders with housing assignments in Bear Creek will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine if early move-in is feasible.
- Residence Life staff will assign your move-in appointment time for you. Journey Leaders do not need to self-select an appointment.
- Journey Leaders are not eligible to participate in Drop Off Day.
Residence Life Student LeadersÌý
- Residence Life student leaders will be assigned a move-in appointment date and time.
- Move-in dates vary by role. Please email reslifestudenthiring@colorado.edu if you have questions about your move-in date. Ìý
- Residence Life student leader check-in will occur at a central location. Additional information will be provided by your Manager.
- Residence Life student leaders are not eligible to participate in Drop Off Day.Ìý
Golden Buffalo Marching BandÌý
- Members of the Marching Band will move-in on Friday, Aug. 14 and will check in at their residence hall.
- You must self-select your own move-in time through the MyCULiving portal.
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- When logging in to the MyCULiving portal, Marching Band students should only be able to view options for Friday, Aug. 14 and for Drop Off Days.
- If you are a band student that is unable to view Aug. 14 as an option, please email reslife@colorado.edu.Ìý
- If you are a band student that wishes to move in on a later date, please contact band staff to discuss options.
- Band students are eligible to participate in Drop Off Day.
CU Bound
- CU Bound participants move in on Friday, Aug. 14, and will check in at their residence hall.
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- CU Bound participants will be able to unload all items directly into your room.
- Bound participants must self-select their own move-in appointment time and are able to participate in Drop Off Day.
- If you are a Bound student that is unable to view Aug. 14 as an option, please email reslife@colorado.edu.Ìý
- If you are selected to participate in Bound, but your plans change, please call Outdoor Pursuits at 303-492-6080.
CU In the Rockies
- Rockies participants must self-select a move-in appointment for the last available timeslot on Tuesday, Aug. 18. You will check-in to your hall on Aug. 18 once you return to campus.
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- If you would like to leave items in your room before your trip, CU in the Rockies participants have the option to self-select a Drop Off Day appointment for the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 11.ÌýThere is a $20 non-refundable fee for participating.
- During your Drop Off appointment, you will be able to unload all personal items directly into your room.
- Note: Drop off appointments are not available in Arnett, Bear Creek, Code Talker or Weber Hall.
- If you are a Rockies participant who is unable to view Aug. 11 or 18 as an option, please email reslife@colorado.edu.Ìý
- If you are selected to participate in Rockies,Ìýbut your plans change, please call Outdoor Pursuits at 303-492-6080.
CU MountainFest
- MountainFest participants must self-select a move-in appointment for the last available timeslot on Friday, Aug. 14. You will check-in to your hall on Aug. 14Ìýbefore launching into your second pre-arrival program. Ìý
- You can select your move-in appointment after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 but before 11:59 p.m. on July 14.
- If you would like to leave items in your room before your trip, CU MountainFest participants have the option to self-select a Drop Off Day appointment for the morning of Tuesday, Aug 11. There is a non-refundable $20 for participating.
- During your Drop Off Appointment, you will be able to unload all personal items directly into your room.
