Residence Hall and Bear Creek Positions
Residential Leader/Mentor
As a Leader/Mentor, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive and safe community among residents under the supervision of the hall director. There are many benefits of being a Leader/Mentor at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ! You can gain exceptional leadership skills, learn how to manage conflict, and make a difference in your community!
- Requirements: 2.5 GPA, good conduct standing, full-time enrollment status (12 credits for undergraduate students)
- Remuneration:ÌýLeader/Mentors are provided with room and board and a stipend for the length of their employment
Community Assistant
As a community assistant (CA) you will work at the community centers (front desks) in the residence halls. You'll help with day-to-day issues like room lockouts and checking out equipment, but also participate in and encourage community-building in your hall while focusing on customer service. - Pay Rate: $16.82 per hour
Community Center Lead
As a Community Center Lead (CCL) you will be responsible for the administrative operations and management of the community center (front desk) under the direction of the community center coordinator. Benefits of this position include gaining valuable leadership and supervision skills while working in a large team environment.
- Payrate: $17.60 per hour
Senior Leader/Mentor
Leadership: Neighborhood Support Leaders and Senior Community Engagement Mentors serve as a resource, positive role model, and peer mentor to new and returning Leader/Mentors. Senior Leader/Mentors assists new and returning Leader/Mentors with confrontations, mediations, questions, and concerns under the direction of their hall director. It is important for Senior Leader/Mentors to have a productive working relationship with their hall director and to be a positive influence on the Leader/Mentor team for Residence Life, and campus partner’s endeavors.
- Requirements: 1 academic year completed as an RA or Leader/Mentor, 2.5 GPA. Good conduct standing
- Renumeration:Senior Leader/Mentors are provided with room and board for the length of their employment. Senior Leader/Mentors are provided with a leadership-level stipend for the extra hours required of the role.
Peer Mentor
As a Peer Mentor you will be responsible for creating an inclusive community in one of our four Hallett Hall Identity-Based Living Learning Communities: ÌýLucile B. Buchanan for Black students and allies, Por La Cultura for Multicultural and Latinx students and allies, Spectrum for LGBTQIA+ students and allies, and Native and Indigenous Peoples for Native and Indigenous students and allies.
- Requirements: 2.0 GPA, good conduct standing, full-time enrollment status (12 credits for undergraduate students)
- Renumeration:Peer Mentors are provided with room and board and a stipend for the length of their employment
Board of Directors (RHA)
The University of Colorado Boulder Residence Hall Association (RHA)Ìýis a student-run organization dedicated to fostering and facilitating a community among on-campus residents, and to promote a safe and comfortable living environment.ÌýRHA also provides opportunities for leadership development and training, as well as various programming efforts to focus on advocacy and social justice in the halls. As a Board of Directors leader for RHA, you will support the success of RHA through one of several Director roles!
- Requirements: 2.5 GPA, good conduct standing, full-time enrollment status (12 credits for undergraduate students)
- Renumeration:Board of Directors leaders are provided with room and board for the length of their employment
EcoRep Director (Board of Directors)
- Plan and facilitate two events per semester in the residence halls (funding is provided).
- Maintain eco-bulletin boards in the residence halls.
- Propose and implement new sustainability initiatives for the residence halls.Ìý

Graduate and Family Housing Positions
Community Assistant
As a community assistant (CA) you will work at the community centers (front desks) in the Graduate & Family Housing Office and/or that Athens North Community. You'll help with day-to-day issues like room lockouts, checking out equipment, assisting with move-in/out’s, but also participate in and encourage community-building while focusing on customer service.

Apartment Advisors
The function of an Apartment Advisor is to facilitate interaction and communication between residents and the Graduate and Family Housing staff, and to promote a sense of community among Graduate and Family Housing residents. We strive to develop and sustain a supportive, inclusive, and considerate community, which allows as much personalized flexibility for individual styles of living as possible.
An Apartment Advisor plays a significant role in making this happen. This position description and agreement serves as an overview of the Residence Life expectations of the AA position with additional community-specific expectations provided by the AA’s supervisor.
- Remuneration: Apartment Advisors are compensated in the form of a rent credit for a two-bedroom unfurnished apartment for each month of appointment.
Summer CUCS Positions
Residential Services Manager (RSM)
Live-In position. This Residential Services Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day housing operations of the Residence Halls. This paraprofessional job will have varied work responsibilities depending on placement and will be scheduled to work 40(+) hours a week. This is a full-time, live in, salaried, temporary job during the summer months only.
Guest Services Representative
This Guest Services Representative position is responsible for day-to-day support of the summer conference operations occurring within the residence halls. This position will work directly with the Residential Services Manager position to ensure all aspects for each conference are ready for the anticipated arrival. This job is involved in working with guest relations and must deliver a high-level of customer service. The successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. The position starts in late May with training and ends in early August.
