Last week, the ���Ҵ�ý�ƽ������ Chamber Singers welcomed our Professor of Vocal Coaching Mutsumi Moteki (front row, center) to rehearsal. “We had the honor of learning about Japanese Tanka poetry and diction,” says Coreen Duffy (front row, right), the college’s new associate professor of conducting and director of choral activities. “Here we are modeling our ‘ah’ vowel. • Tea + Equity, Oct. 9, 4-5 p.m., Grusin Lobby: All students, staff and faculty are invited to join members of the College of Music’s Diversity Committee for community connection—tea and cookies will be served! This month, the ���Ҵ�ý�ƽ������ WorkWell Wagon will also be on hand—Health + Wellness staff will provide information about campus wellness programs, events and services.
• The Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS) is ! Spend two months at the country’s premier summer music festival, studying and performing side-by-side with renowned artist-faculty in beautiful Aspen, Colorado, June 25-Aug. 24, 2025. Students enrolled at ���Ҵ�ý�ƽ������ are eligible for fellowship and scholarship opportunities through the generous support of the Price Foundation; other AMFS scholarships are also available.
