Program Information

The Deep Tech Competition of the New Venture Challenge (NVC) is a multi-round entrepreneurial competition and signature program ofҴýƽ Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, led in collaboration withVenture Partners at Ҵýƽ. Competing ventures must be built around a scientific or technological innovation that has been developed using a profound understanding of fundamental scientific disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics. Eligible teams canwin up to $50,000in prize money!

  • Jan. 31, 2024: Application opens
  • March 14, 11:59 p.m. MT: Application deadline

³:All programming takes place on the Ҵýƽ campus or virtually. The Deep Tech Competition Finals will take place in person, location TBD.

Who:This competition is for venture teams founded by any current Ҵýƽ students, faculty, staff, recent graduates or members of the 2024 Embark Deep Tech Startup Creator.
