Online Experience
As a new student, before you can enroll in classes, you'll need to complete the mandatory Online Experience. This resource remains available to students throughout their first semester. The Online Experience includes information on:Ìý
- Health, Wellness and Safety
- Community Accountability
- Advising
- Enrolling in Classes
The Online Experience can be found as a course inÌý. You will need to complete ALL of the modules within the course in order to lift the Online Experience hold on your account. The hold will prevent you from registering for classes if the Online Experience is not complete, so be sure to finish all of the modules before it is your time to register.
This module will introduce you to common health and wellness topics ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ students navigate, including:
- Mental and physical health resources.
- Alcohol and substance use.
- Disability Services.
- Health care.
- Health requirements for new students.
At ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ we are committed to creating an environment where all students, staff and faculty can be engaged and successful. This module will help you:
- Understand university policies around discrimination, harassment, misconduct, stalking and more.
- Understand the options for seeking support.
- Become familiar with the process for reporting misconduct and learn how complaints are handled.
Learn skills for being an effective bystander and supporting peers.
This module will prepare you for working with your academic advisor. You will need to complete this module before you can start the Enrolling in Classes module. You will find detailed information on:
- What academic advisors do.
- How to work with your advisor.
- Your degree requirements.
- How AP/IB credits apply.
- How to plan your academic program.
- Transfer credits.
This module provides important information on pre-registration steps for enrolling in your first semester classes.ÌýCompletion of this module is required before you can enroll in classes.ÌýThe module includes information on:
- How to prepare for enrollment.
- Searching for and enrolling in classes.
- Monitoring your deadlines.
- Understanding your degree audit.
- Student record privacy (FERPA).
