- After more than a decade of research, fine-tuning and field testing around the world, from Boulder to Egypt, Tanzania and Guatemala, two theatre faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder will launch their SPEAK Vocal Empowerment Curriculum鈥攁 program meant to help women find their voice鈥攚ith a workshop on March 9 in New York City, in conjunction with the 25th-anniversary celebration of the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women.
- Build a Better Book takes a different approach to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. Its educators work with K-12 students in and outside of Colorado, most of whom are sighted, and teaches them how to design objects that are both fun and needed鈥攂ooks, games and more鈥攖hat are accessible for all children.
