Caitlin Jenkins is a photographer, documentary filmmaker, and photo/video editor. She’s graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder in Spring 2026 with a degree in Media Production and minors in Business, Sports Media, and Communications, and is looking to enter the entertainment industry.
Her work leans dark, grunge, and experimental, with a strong focus on editing and detail. She’s drawn to visuals that feel different, pushing images through layering, distortion, and heavy edits. Instead of clean or polished, she focuses on work that feels raw and immersive, making people question what they’re seeing and how it was made.

Somewhat Terrible But The Most Awesome Thing Ever
This is an experimental short film about Milwaukee’s 90s punk and alternative rock scene, told through an interview with my uncle, Tim Duggan. The film is built entirely around his voice, there’s no outside narration, so everything comes from his personal experience being in that scene. He talks about what punk rock is, different genres, playing in bands, going to shows, and what it actually felt like to be part of it. The scene was crowded, loud, and chaotic in the best way.
The structure is more audio-centered than a traditional documentary. It doesn’t follow a strict storyline, it moves through moments and memories, using his stories to piece together what that scene looked and felt like. The visuals follow that, using stop motion made from archival footage alongside real footage from the time, edited in a rough, raw way that matches Tim’s experience and personality.
