• Musabber Ali Chisty has been selected as a 2025-2026 Frédéric Bastiat FellowÌýby the Mercatus Center at the George Mason University.ÌýThis prestigious, competitive fellowship is awarded to outstanding graduate students who demonstrate exceptional potential in policy-relevant academic research. Over the course of the one-year program, fellows engage directly with Mercatus scholars, gaining insights into advanced policy analysis and contributing to critical discussions. As a Bastiat Fellow, Musabber will further develop his dissertation research, which examines cascading disaster preparedness, systemic resilience, and intersectionality within policy frameworks.
