Drop by theÌýCU Museum of Natural History at 7 p.m. to learn all about the behaviors and ecology of clamsÌýand how our behaviors, ecology and evolution are heavily influenced by these biological interactions. Jingchun Li, the museum's invertebrate curatorÌýand assistant professor in theÌýEcology and Evolutionary Biology Department, will lay it all out for you in thisÌýfree lecture.

Swing by UMC 457Ìýfrom 5 to 7 p.m. for a viewing of the movieÌý,Ìýwhich traces the paths of two African American teens from the south side of Chicago. The film, which is presented by The Cultural Unity & Engagement Center, the Public Achievement programÌýandÌý,Ìýfollows the young men from their teen years into adulthood.

Technology Career Fair

Don’t miss your chance to network with more than 90 employersÌýhiring for jobs and internships this year at the Technology Career Fair. Companies such as Lockheed Martin, Ricoh, Amazon, Facebook, Cree, Plexus, Webroot, Xilinx and more will be on campus from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.Ìýin theÌýUMC ballroom. Please bring your Buff OneCard.

Bring your thinking caps over to Hellems 111 from 5-7 p.m. for a night of trivia and free pizza compliments ofÌýthe Department of English Student Advisory Council.


Friday, Feb. 9

This free two-day event,Ìýa gathering of sharing, learning and action, is designed to cultivate networks and cross-pollinate many environmental and social topics. JoinÌýFeb. 9–10 at theÌýSustainability, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC).
