First-ever Ball Career Day coming up Sept. 20

As first-announced in April atÌý“An Evening with John Hayes,â€�ÌýBallÌýCorporation and ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ are teaming up to host a first-everÌýBallÌýCareerÌýDayÌýon Thursday, Sept. 20.

Students from across campus, whether they’re studying finance or aerospace, will have the chance to learn about the vastÌýcareerÌýopportunities offered byÌýBall Corporation, a Fortune 300 company based in Broomfield, Colorado. Space is limited to students on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be eightÌýdifferent focus areas that students can sign up to learn more about:

  • High-speed beverage can manufacturing
  • Aerospace satellite manufacturing
  • Sustainability
  • Supply chain
  • Beverage packaging marketing and innovation
  • Aerospace sensor technologies
  • Finance

On Sept. 20,ÌýBallÌýCorporation will open its doors to CU students at eightÌýdifferent locations in Colorado for tours, meetings withÌýBallÌýemployeesÌýand hands-on experiences. TheÌýdayÌýwill culminate with an evening information-sharing session on the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ campus attended by CEO John Hayes, CU Engineering Dean Bobby BraunÌýand more.
