The 2024 Sexual Assault and Related Harms Survey is underway, and all undergraduate and graduate students still have time to participate in this important campus initiative before it closes on Dec. 6.

Led by the�����Ҵ�ý�ƽ������ Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance the survey assesses the prevalence of sexual assault, sexual discrimination, sexual exploitation, stalking and intimate partner abuse that students have experienced during their time at ���Ҵ�ý�ƽ������.

OIEC launched the survey, which it administers every four years, on Oct. 22. All students received a direct email from the university with a unique link permitting them to participate in the survey anonymously. Students who have not completed the survey will receive reminders with the unique survey link.��More information is available on the survey webpage.

Sexual assault and related harms, like stalking and intimate partner abuse, can have lasting, negative impacts on a student’s well-being and their ability to thrive academically and socially at ���Ҵ�ý�ƽ������, OIEC survey administrators said.

“Student viewpoints matter, and our office thanks all of the students who have already completed the survey,” said Julie Volckens, OIEC’s senior director of assessment and prevention. “The more data we gather and the more we understand the types of harm happening both on and off campus, the better positioned we’ll be to support students through campuswide prevention and support services.”

Participants who complete the survey can choose $10 for their time or donate the Campus Cash to the��Basic Needs Center or the Graduate Student Emergency Aid Fund.

Students who choose the compensation will be redirected to a webpage completely disconnected from the survey, where they can submit their information—a two-step process that protects their privacy and anonymity. The Campus Cash will appear on students’ Buff OneCards about a week after they submit their request.
