Get practical guidance on compliance, risk and emerging issues

Understanding compliance and risk isn’t just for specialists—it’s part of how the university operates effectively every day.ÌýThe Office of Compliance, Ethics and Policy (OCEP) is offering a monthly Compliance and Ethics Educational Series to help faculty and staff better understand key topics that affect their work.

Why compliance matters

At ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ, successful Buffs thrive in an environment built on respect, integrity and accountability. Compliance safeguards the integrity of our research, supports a safe and inclusive campus where everyone can succeed, and sustains our shared values over the long term.Ìý

By learning and following these policies, we demonstrate how Buffs collaborate to protect opportunity and well-being for all.

Exploring the series

Running monthly, the Compliance and Ethics Educational Series addresses timely, practical compliance and risk topics. Upcoming sessions will focus on athletics compliance, internal audit and reporting, risk management, and the intersection of compliance and artificial intelligence. Each session is designed to provide clarity around processes, responsibilities and emerging issues, with opportunities to ask questions and understand how these topics apply in real campus contexts.

While some sessions target particular audiences, all are open to anyone interested.

Register for individual sessions via the OCEP website. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend sessions most relevant to their work and share the opportunity with colleagues who may benefit.
