Karl Linden to receive prestigious Clarke Prize
The National Water Research Institute and the Joan Irvine Smith and Athalie R. Clarke Foundation will present the 2020 Clarke Prize to Professor Karl Linden on Nov. 10. NWRI administers the prestigious $50,000 prize.
David Shneer, noted Jewish historian, dies at 48
Professor David Shneer, the Louis P. Singer Endowed Chair in Jewish History at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ, passed away. A noted scholar who helped shape students' lives, Shneer researched 20th century European, Russian and Jewish history and culture.
