- A ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ team is a finalist in a NASA competition to design a greenhouse for use on Mars. The annual challenge is set for April 23–24 and calls for student groups to develop solutions to tough space problems.
- Tree Campus USA is an Arbor Day Foundation program honoring institutions for effective campus forest management and for engaging employees and students in conservation goals.
- Anseth has been elected to the 2019 class of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, which recognizes and convenes leaders from a variety of disciplines to address critical issues facing the world.
- The winning scholars plan to use their awards to support research of imperial legacy on standardized testing in the Middle East and adult adoptions and family formation in Japan.
- ​The National Science Foundation has awarded prestigious Graduate Research Fellowships to 32 ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ students.
