    From Feb. 10 through 12, the classical guitar will take center stage in the third CU International Guitar Festival and Competition. The festival鈥檚 finale will feature 40 competing guitarists from China, Italy, Mexico and all over the United States.

    "Voigt Lessons" tells the story of opera star Deborah Voigt's rise to fame through refreshingly frank anecdotes, songs and arias. The Feb. 18 performance takes place in Macky Auditorium.

    On Feb. 9 and 10, the College of Music鈥檚 band department hosts the U.S. Air Force Academy Concert Band for a series of master classes and a joint concert in honor of the Air Force's 70th birthday.
