- The results of a 2022 employee survey shows a large swing to the remote work modality and a need for more sustainable transportation use to achieve campuswide climate goals.
- A contractor recently discovered that bees have a long history of residence at one of the best properties in town, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ iconic Old Main. Two colonies were reverently re-homed in preparation for a building preservation project.
- Following a successful pilot program, Lime Scooters will be more widely available in Boulder and on the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ campus starting this month.
- In another win for ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ sustainability initiatives, two new electric Buff Buses have hit the streets. The campus has now replaced four aging diesel buses, with plans to electrify more of the fleet.
- A grant through the Can Do Colorado initiative allowed Community Cycles to give electric bikes to 14 ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ employees.
- The City of Boulder Landmarks Board recognized ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ 1135 Broadway building, which now houses the Renée Crown Wellness Institute, with a project award.
- Each year, move-out produces tons of unwanted items headed for the landfill as students pack up to return home for the summer. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ implemented a solution to reduce waste and promote sustainability and generosity. Instead of trashing items, students participated in the Give & Go Donation Drive.
