Are you interested in participating in a study where you get to work with a simulated robot? Do you want to get paid to play some computer games?

For this experiment, you will be seated at a computer workstation and will complete a simulated scenario in which you work with an autonomous system to correctly and efficiently fulfill package orders for customers. While you complete this task, you will wear sensors on your head and body that will be gathering data. You will complete questionnaires and surveys throughout the experiment as well. There are a total of 20 sessions with our research team. Each session is anticipated to take no more than 90 minutes. Each session will occur approximately every three days, so the total time you will be enrolled in this study is no more than two months.

You will be paid for the time you spend participating in this study and can earn additional payment based on your performance. Please note that if you have a known history of seizures, require eyeglasses to see (contacts are fine), or are under the age of 18, you cannot participate in this study. Wearing contacts does not disqualify you from the study. Do not drink alcohol in the six hours before each study visit, as this may impact your performance. Participants will be rescheduled if they self-report consuming alcohol in this time frame.

This experiment will take place in the Aerospace Engineering Sciences building on ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ East Campus. More details on the study protocol will be provided in person prior to beginning the experiment during your session.
