This program was developed and written by the Environmental Health & Safety Department (EHS) and is considered the campus standard for protecting faculty, staff, and students from exposure to bloodborne pathogens. EHS has developed this program to provide a safe and healthy work environment by striving to minimize or eliminate occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. The program outlines exposure risk determination, responsibilities, exposure control methods, training, and recordkeeping.
