Meet the Peer Academic Coaches!

Our PAC Team

Andreas

I am a Mechanical Engineering student. I received excellent peer coaching when I was struggling early on, and I am now excited to pay it forward and help people where I can as a Peer Academic Coach! Outside of school I like Jiu jitsu, biking, live music, and traveling to Europe.

Ava (she/her)

I am studying Civil Engineering. I wanted to be a Peer Academic coach to be able to give back to CEAS and help other students with their academic goals. I would not have made it this far in engineering without support, and I wanted to offer help to other students. In my free time, I’m very into collaging, skiing, and painting.Ìý

Ingrid (she/her)

I am pursuing Aerospace Engineering. I wanted to help other students live up to their academic potential. I wanted to give other students tools and strategies to become engineers. When I can, I like to read, run, hike and draw.Ìý

Lila (she/her)

I am working towards a major in Architectual Engineering and certificate in Global Engineering. I want to be a peer coach to help students recognize they’re not alone! Engineering is challenging, and having someone to work with who understands those challenges is so important for succeeding.Ìý

Maria (she/her)

I am working towards completing a major in Aerospace Engineering, minor in Italian, and minor in Engineering Management. I wanted to be a Peer Academic Coach to use what I have gained from my own personal experience of being an International Student here in Boulder to help others in their academic journey at CU. In my free time, I love drawing and painting, going out with my friends, watch F-1 and everything to do with motorsports.Ìý

McKenna (she/her)

I am an Aerospace Engineering student. I applied to be a Peer Academic Coach because I wanted to grow as a leader and mentor. It’s meaningful to me to be part of someone’s academic journey and see them build confidence over time. I love skiing, hiking, tennis, and music!Ìý

Natsumi (she/her)

I am studying Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management. I want to be a Peer Academic Coach to help students and to create environments that encourage and promote academic collaboration. In addition, to strengthen not only my skills as a leader, listener, and student, but my peer’s as well. My hobbies include painting, though I am no Bob Ross! If you can find me, I’ll probably be next to the pool with my favorite book, or, if winter, out on the ski slopes. Interestingly enough, I started my own fantasy novel.Ìý

Nia (she/her)

I am studying Aerospace with a minor in Space. I wanted to be a Peer Academic Coach because I enjoy helping others reach their academic goals and feel more comfortable and confident in their abilities. I’ve faced my own challenges with learning and staying motivated, being a coach I can share effective ways to stay motivated. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, and spending time outside enjoying nature.Ìý

Olivia (she/her)

Hello! My name is Olivia, I'm a 4th year student, and this will be my 3rd year as a Peer Academic Coach. I wanted to become a Peer Coach to give students the support I wished I had as a first-year student when I was struggling. Academic Coaching was a huge game changer for me, and I wanted to be able to provide that for others. I love sports and I am a hardcore nerd, I enjoy games of all kinds, cooking, and flying. I'm also an avid reader!
