Theodore C. Myers

Taught for the Geography Department from 1965 to 1988.

Notable Accomplishments:

  • Editor of the Rocky Mountain-Great Plains Geographical Journal, 1981 to 1985.
  • Director of the International Affairs Program in 1985.
  • Received the 1986 Distinguished Teaching Award from the National Council for Geographic Education.
  • The Theodore C Myers Memorial Scholarship in Geography was set up in his honor in 1988.

Professor Emeritus Theodore C. Myers passed away on February 24, 1988 at the age of 53.
