Prof. Lundquist leads an interdisciplinary research group in the  at the , with a joint appointment at the . Her research group uses observational and computational approaches to understand the atmospheric boundary layer, with an emphasis on atmosphere-wind energy interactions. She joined ATOC in Spring 2010, also joining the as a Fellow. Previously, Julie was a scientist at  in Livermore, California. She completed her PhD in Astrophysical, Planetary, and Atmospheric Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, and has a BA in English/Physics from .
