CU-Prime

CU-Prime is a student-driven effort led by grad and undergrad students in the Physics Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. Through mentorship and inclusive community building efforts, we cultivate belonging, promote equity, and address barriers experienced by traditionally underrepresented groups in Physics/STEM fields. CU-Prime is open to all students in the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ Physics Department.Ìý

Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics

Undergraduate Women and Gender Minorities in Physics (uWaGMiP) is a community of undergraduate students working to understand and address barriers to the success of traditionally underrepresented genders in the physics community. We work to provide mentorship, opportunities for involvement in the CU Physics department, and a supportive environment in which we can all grow and learn! We offer monthly events ranging from discussions on finding undergraduate research and applying to graduate school, to movie and game nights. Contact uwagmip@colorado.edu for more information. uWaGMiP is open to all CU undergraduate students.Ìý

COSMOS

is a student organization aimed towards fostering an environment that promotes success for all students in the Physics, Engineering Physics, and Astrophysics Departments at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ. Through sharing scholarship information, graduate/postdoc preparation seminars, community service opportunities, study groups, and much more, we cultivate belonging, promote equity, and address barriers experienced by underrepresented minorities. We are here to help ensure all students have the necessary resources to be successful in earning any degree they are currently working towards, including unique challenges that face students of color. COSMOS is open to all CU students.

All CU physics student groups do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, marital status, political affiliation or political philosophy, in accordance with federal, state and CU Regent policy.
