<p class="p1">With an increase in business filings in Colorado through the first quarter of 2015 -- including new and renewing entities and trade names -- employment in the state is expected to keep growing during the second and third quarters of the year, according to a University of Colorado Boulder report released today by Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams.</p>
<p>The confidence of Colorado business leaders remains optimistic, increasing slightly going into the second quarter of 2015, according to the Leeds Business Confidence Index (LBCI) released today by the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. For the past eight quarters, confidence has been more stable than ever in the index’s 11-year history.  </p>
<p>The Leeds School of Business is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program aimed at supporting CU-Boulder employees, allowing them to earn an MBA from the Leeds Evening MBA program.</p>- <p class="p1">The <a href="http://www.colorado.edu/leedsmba/evening-mba"><span class="s1">Evening MBA Program</span></a>, offered by the CU-Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, is going south -- in a good way. Beginning in May, the program -- offered since 2000 on the CU-Boulder campus -- also will be available at the <a href="http://www.ucdenver.edu/about/southdenver/Pages/default.aspx"><span class="s1">Liniger Building at CU South Denver</span></a>, located at 10035 Peoria St. in Parker, Colorado.</p>

But belles can put the brakes on discrimination by acknowledging their looks during an interview, according to a new study led by the University of Colorado Boulder.</p>
<p class="p1">The paper, published in <i>Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes</i>, is the first to provide a method for curtailing such prejudice against attractive women.</p>
