Ryan Pollard, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ. He teaches courses on communication disorders, counseling and disability studies. He also recently enrolled in CU’s MFA program in creative writing. His work has appeared inÌýBellevue Literary Review, Redivider, Valparaiso Fiction Review, Litro and elsewhere. He’s been nominated for the PEN/Dau Short Story Prize and long-listed for the Front Range Book Prize. His writing is unique in that it tends to center the experiences of people with disabilities.
