The city of Boulder has been selected to host the 2027 Sundance Film Festival. Please follow these Sundance Film Festival trademark style guidelines both in writing and verbally:

• Use the full name 2027 Sundance Film Festival or Sundance Film Festival.
  • Use the Festival on second reference (an exception to AP style).
  • When referring specifically to the 2027 event, 2027 should always precede Sundance Film Festival.
  • Never refer to Sundance solely or standalone. 
• When referencing the organization as a whole, refer to Sundance Institute.
  • Use the Institute on second reference (an exception to AP style).
