ADA Compliance frequently receives questions about ergonomic consultation services and how an employee might receive an evaluation. ADA can assist with ergonomic evaluations and adjustments for employees who have a disability. Employees who need an ergonomic evaluation or adjustments because of a disability should request an accommodation.Ìý

Employees who do not have a disability, but who are experiencing pain as a result of their workstation, should contact to inquire about filing a claim under workers’ compensation.

Employees who do not have a disability, and who are not currently experiencing pain as a result of the ergonomics of their workspace, but who are interested in receiving an ergonomic evaluation, should inquire with their department.Ìý
