Congratulations on being approved for in-state tuition as an honorably discharged veteran. We want to thank you for your service and provide some potentially beneficial information about becoming a Colorado resident for tuition purposes.

Our records indicate that you expected to complete the undergraduate requirements for your Bachelor's–Accelerated Master's (BAM) program in Fall 2025.

On Sept. 8, we canceled the waitlists for full-semester sessions B. To request a snapshot of students who were still on the waitlist, email regsystemsdata@colorado.edu.

Our records indicate that although you graduated from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ in August, you're registered for one or more Fall 2026 classes in the same degree program.

As a graduate or law student, you may be eligible to petition for in-state residency for Fall 2027, provided you established physical presence in Colorado on or before Aug. 18, 2026, and take the necessary steps to establish legal ties by the time periods outlined below.

On your behalf, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ has granted you an institutional waiver that allows your COF funding to continue through Summer 2027.

We have reviewed the petition and supporting documents you submitted for Summer 2026. After our initial review, we requested additional documentation or clarification regarding your residency petition. As you did not submit the required documentation, your petition is now closed and will no longer be processed.

Automatic enrollment ends on Aug. 28; waitlists are canceled on Sept. 8.
