Timeline

This form is for the Summer 2027 and/or Academic Year 2027-28 application cycle. If you served previously (but haven't signed up this year), you won't be included in communications about this year's cycle.

Eligibility

Tenured/tenure-track, research, teaching and clinical faculty, contract instructors, postdocs and graduate students at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ÆÆ½â°æÏÂÔØ are eligible to evaluate UROP proposals. Due to the distribution of applications, we have the most need in 1) Life/Biosciences and 2) Math, Physical Sciences and Engineering.

Mentor Award

Submit nominations by April 2, 2027.

Mentor Eligibility

Tenured/tenure-track research faculty, teaching faculty, postdocs and graduate students at the University of Colorado Boulder and Anschutz Medical Campus are eligible for UROP's Mentor Award. Students are invited to nominate their mentors regardless of program funding, and we welcome submissions from early-stage researchers and creative practitioners.

Prepare a Nomination

1,000 word maximum: Explain how your mentor has excelled in the following:

  • Training
  • Professional Development
  • Ongoing Support
  • Evaluations and Feedback
  • Impact on Learning and Development

Group Nominations: Students are able to submit group nominations by including a list of additional contributors on the form.

Call for Participants

Developed and hosted in Boulder since 2018, UROP's Sidewalk Symposium invites undergraduates to share their research and creative presentations with chalk on campus walkways. UROP welcomes undergraduates at any stage of their project to participate.
