Our mission is to equip first-generation students with essential career development resources and cultivate strong social networking skills that support success at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ and beyond.

Our Commitment

The Empower Program is committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and equity-centered environment for first-generation students in the College of Arts and Sciences who are recipients of local, community-based scholarships. We strive to build a strong community, develop leadership skills, and connect students with resources that support their academic, personal, and professional success.

What We Offer

Through a series of engaging workshops and community-building events throughout the academic year, the Empower Program is designed to help students develop career readiness, strengthen their professional network, and build meaningful connections with fellow scholars and campus partners.
